| The 2000 Chesley
Bonestell Memorial Lecture, entitled Discovery of a Habitable World: Jupiters
Moon Europa, was delivered on 11 November by Dr. Richard Greenberg. A near-capacity
audience at Monterey Peninsula Colleges Lecture Forum enjoyed Dr. Greenbergs
insights into the Europan environment. Dr. Greenberg is a member of the Galileo Imaging Team and a Principal Investigator in NASAs Planetary Geology and Geophysics program. His investigations of Europa have led to the implications that it may well be a world habitable by living organisms. |
