Robin Casady captured this dramatic Perseid meteor fireball while taking photographs to document light pollution seen from Chews Ridge. The view is to the east, toward Greenfield and Soledad. Taken on August 12, 1999 at 10:32 pm with a Nikon N90, 20-35mm f/2.8 lens at 20mm f/2.8. Kodak E200 film, 10 min. exp.
