Note: Currently both Google Maps and MapQuest display an incorrect location for the MIRA offices. We are located on the corner of 2nd Avenue and 8th Street despite declarations to the contrary. Directions from Hwy 1 N/S: 1. Take the 12th Street Exit and proceed East 0.3 miles. Volunteering The Monterey Institute for Research in Astronomy welcomes volunteers to help with the many facets of MIRA's mission of astronomical research, public education and public outreach. Volunteers need not have a background in physics or astronomy. If you are interested in volunteering, please email mira [at] mira.org for more information.
